Conference CPE

An unlimited amount of Conference CPE credits may be claimed each year. Credits in excess of 20 may be carried for next year. Participant credit is defined as instruction in a formal class setting. A formalized class is one that meets in a formal setting, and includes:

  • A Faculty
  • A written syllabus
  • Recorded Attendance

Required documentation for this method:

  1. A certificate of completion that includes the number of CPE hours attained.

University Credit

Under the University Collaboration program, Indiaforensic offers its certifications to the students, these University courses may be claimed and computed at the rate of 15 credits of CPE for each semester hour completed.

Required documentation for this credit to be accepted:

  1. Transcripts stating the course name and the number of credit hours earned.

In-the-firm Training

In-the-firm training is acceptable, provided that it is offered by the recognised faculty in a formalized setting and meets the criteria of recording the attendance. Informal, on-the-job training will not be acceptable.

Required documentation for this credit to be accepted:

  1. Registration for the course online on the website of Riskpro and certificate of completion that includes the number of CPE hours attained.

Instructor Credit

Instructors may claim CPE credit for the number of hours actually presented plus a maximum of 2 hours preparation for each hour of presentation for the first time the material is presented. Ex: If the faculty presents the course on financial statement analysis for 10 hours then he is eligible to claim complete 20 hours as the CPE credits for the purpose of Indiaforensic certification compliance. The compliance of other organisations are however not covered under this program.

Subsequent credit for preparation of the same presentation is not permitted. Full teaching credit may be claimed in every instance the subject is taught. The faculty however needs to be the Certified Resource Faculty of Riskpro.

Required documentation for this credit to be accepted:

  1. Registration certificate of Certified Faculty
  2. Evidence of the training program conducted

A confirmation letter on university letterhead/ college letterhead that states the name and time-frame of the class taught.

Meeting Credit

Credit for attending approved meetings of the Local Chapters of Riskpro are eligible for a CPE credits every year. Meetings must have a Riskpro Certified CPE Faculty. Meetings must be at least 50 minutes in length for each hour claimed. Time for lunches, breaks, social gatherings, planning sessions, business meetings, and similar activities must be excluded.

Required documentation for this credit to be accepted:

  1. A certificate of completion that includes the number of CPE hours attained for attendance at the meeting or a copy of the sign in list stating the date and duration of the meeting.
